I want to focus on his quote from the first video (located at the 3:59 mark)…
“We can’t throw them out, we can’t send them home. I’m talking about the Jihadists now, I’m not talking about the majority of mild Muslims.”
And this is a textbook example of why the chattering political classes are all but incapable of solving existential crises. What options has he left on the table for England to deal with Jihadi’s?
Take away their TV privileges for a month? And as to “mild Muslims?” Nice to know he has an active interior fantasy life.
Something I’ve been meaning to do a longer thing on, something I’ve noticed in the Pro-White blogosphere is how their hatred of Jews has caused them to lose their F’ing minds where Islam and Jihad is concerned. They have taken the old saw ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ and forgotten that the enemy of my enemy is still an enemy.
This is one of the reasons I stopped reading Pat Buchanon, and its a damn shame because I really like Pat in a lot of ways and he is one of the highest placed ‘respectable’ voices in the pro-White world. Yet his dislike of Israel has distorted his entire view of the Middle East causing him to think that if we weren’t there we would be pals with the ME?
Good luck with that! My point is this, I don’t care whether or not you hate Israel, I don’t but its a free country, hate whom you please, but please make every effort to not become an idiot in the process.

And now back to our originally scheduled post: politics as usual isn’t going to solve the problems we are facing. Deliberative Democracies suck at facing internal existential crises, they are built to move slowly on purpose but once you’ve allowed the enemy into your camp they break down entirely. The problem is we’ve invited every enemy known to man into our camp and now we are being genocided for our troubles.

2. These hopeful announcements will always encourage naive and reality-averse Westerners into believing that Islam is reformable, which will further encourage them to believe that the West must support all efforts to reform Islam, instead of simply defending itself from Islam.
3. These calls, announcements, and efforts to reform Islam, notwithstanding all the hopes placed on them, will always come to nothing.
4. The naive Westerners will never learn anything from these repeated failures.
